These were Pasties from the Pure Pasty Co., in Vienna, VA.
It was a cute store that sells various kinds of British, more precisely to say, Cornish savory pies. We picked up three kinds of pasties: Traditional style, Chicken Proven
çal, and Moroccan Lamb. I reheated them in the oven and shared with J to enjoy three different tastes at once.
They were very tasty! The crust was lovely and the fillings were nicely seasoned. After ate the three of half of each for lunch, we didn't need anything for the rest of the day. They were filling indeed. While each one was different and very good, my favorite was Traditional so far. We also bought two frozen Aussie pies and two Steak & Kidney pies so
that we can bake them by ourselves at home in the future. Those pies are not pocket-shaped like pasty, but in a little round pie shape, and supposed to be more gravy-based than pasties. Can't wait to try them!
