J secretly bought this cute "big heart" chocolaty cake for us to celebrate our Valentine's day together. How sweet!!
Actually this cake came to us a few days earlier than the actual Valentine's day. J suggested we start Valentine's day early. He knew I won't say no. He was right!
It was a gorgeous and absolutely delicious! Inside was chocolate sponge cake, dark chocolate ganache and raspberry ganache layers (I guess). Sweet tart raspberry was a lovely accent in the amazingly rich chocolate heaven. What a wonderful early Valentine's day it was! And we would be able to keep enjoying another piece on the actual Valentine's day, I thought. At that point, I didn't know what was in J's mind. To be continued...
