This was SMOG from Dangerously Delicious Pies.

I have known the pie store for a while, but hadn't had a chance to try until we happened to find a store in Union Market when we were there. They had some kinds of savory pies. SMOG - steak, mushrooms, onion and Gruyère sounded interesting. J got one. I thought we were going to get one slice to share for dinner since their slice looked big. He got a whole pie! So, we each had a substantial size of the pie for dinner.

Pardon me, the picture doesn't look attractive while it clearly shows how generous the pie held steak inside! Large chunks of steak everywhere. Seriously. I have never seen a steak pie like this before. Great surprise was the quality of steak. It was pretty good. The pie was simply delicious. J said it tasted like Beef Stroganoff. Yes, it did!
