Greek Fisherman's Stew
This was Greek Fisherman's stew.
The recipe was from the New York Times. I used two fillets of frozen haddock that have been sitting in the freezer for last some months, and two fillets of fresh haddock I just bought at a local Wegmans store. The stew called for fennel. I am basically not a big fan of fennel/anise flavor, but can sometimes accept it, depending on how it would be presented. For example, this was an "accepted" case.
The stew was light and flavorful. My favorite part was potatoes that wonderfully absorbed the deliciousness of the stew!
