Sunny-Side Up "Special Eggs"

These were sunny-side up "special eggs."

Yes, the eggs were special. They were super fresh, hand-gathered by J's friend who takes care of hens, who kindly gave a dozen of eggs to J. Thanks a lot! And welcome home, eggs!

Our first "special" egg dish was simple sunny-side ups that J cooked. The yolk's color was beautiful bright orange. J said he tasted some kind of mineral. For me, it tasted clean and smooth. It may be a little bit difficult to distinguish the egg's subtle flavor, at least for me; on the other hand, the eggs that have their story make them true special, which I appreciate. We both enjoyed the breakfast with the new egg experience so much!
