Kuri-Gohan (Chestnut Rice) - Japan 2017

This was chestnut rice, or "Kuri-Gohan" in Japanese, with other dishes.

My mother made it especially for me who LOVE chestnuts! Making chestnut rice from scratch is actually troublesome. Peeling the shell and skin of chestnuts by knife one by one was a pain task, which I have never done. Thanks a million Mom! The rice was splendid!
