Kurimaro 2017 - Japan 2017

This was Kurimaro 2017!

I was lucky to come back to Japan during the time that the amazingly delicious Japanese traditional chestnut sweet made by Tsuruya Yoshinobu was available again. The large whole grown-in-Japan chestnut and smooth not-so-sweet red bean paste were hidden in delicate steamed flour-yam mix bun. I wish I could eat this little treat everyday...
