Sourdough Biscuits with American Spoon's Berry & Rose Conserve
These were sourdough biscuits with American Spoon's berry and rose conserve.
I have made sourdough biscuits several times by now. This time was one of the best! The biscuits were "mile high" and tasted wonderful. I don't know what made a difference, though. For such beautiful biscuits, we opened a new jar of American Spoon's - berry and rose conserve!
The conserve was lovely. I mostly tasted strawberry and raspberry and couldn't pinpoint where rose was. However, I thought it was more than just mix berry jam but somehow elegant and flowery perhaps because of rose. The conserve was a limited edition. I should buy some more right now!
