Raffetto's Lobster Ravioli with Vino de Milo's Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce
Our latest Raffetto's ravioli tasting was about lobster ravioli! The filling was wrapped in "tomato pasta." We matched the pretty red ravioli with Vino de Milo's roasted garlic pasta sauce. The pasta sauce was one of gifts from Santa J. We have never had Vino de Milo's product. Rao's has been our to-go commercial pasta sauce for a quick and easy meal. We were curious about this new (for us) brand. Can it beat Rao's?!
Lobster ravioli was wonderful so other kinds of Raffetto's ravioli that we have had were. The garlic sauce was very nice with the little lobster pillows. The sauce tasted bright and fresh, not sweet, not too sour, or not watery. When I opened the jar, I smelled strong garlic, but the rich lobster filling didn't make the sauce taste too garlicy. Overall, we were very happy with the ravioli and pasta sauce combo.
