Almond Croissant from Maison Kayser
Maison Kayser opened their first shop in downtown DC some weeks ago, and I had an appointment in DC. How could I come back without dropping the French chain bakery by? There were various kinds of baked goods, but I managed to choose what to buy quickly. Well, if J were with me, he might have had a different opinion, though. Anyway, I bought a sandwich bread, so-called "pain de mie," a whole wheat round bread, a brioche roll for J, and an almond croissant for me. The almond croissant was nice, which was similar to one from Bonaparte Breads. J seemed to enjoyed his brioche. The loafs were pretty good, too. I am glad to have another option to shop breads in DC.
