I told my father that our dinner was sandwich. He said he has never had sandwich for dinner in his life. I guess that's true. When I was living with my parents, my mother had never served sandwich for dinner. Even I felt sandwich, especially cold sandwich for dinner was strange first while I am used to it by now. Still I like something hot for dinner, so I appreciate a sandwich and soup combo. This homemade smoked fish sandwich with homemade bread and homemade creamy (but dairy-free) cauliflower soup combo was delicious and proper as a dinner.
