Delicious chocolate from Kobe, Japan! My mother sent us Mon Loire's chocolate bars as a part of our birthday gifts. Mon Loire is a Japanese chocolatier that opened a chocolate cafe in Kobe in 1988. We got four chocolate bars. Each bar was filled with flavored cream: blueberry pie, green tea, pistachio, and tiramisu.
All of the bars, carefully hand-made and hand-wrapped, were delightful. If I had to pick only one of them, it would be blueberry pie that I thought was unique.
I don't know which one was J's favorite but I am sure he enjoyed all. Thank you my mother!
