C'est Bon C'est Belge in Brussels, featuring Mont des Arts, etc

We visited C'est Bon C'est Belge, a restaurant in Brussels to try their famous Carbonnade de Flamande, a traditional Belgian beef and onion stew cooked with beer. The stew was comfort. The flavor was pretty mild. Not herby or oniony. Beer completely hid somewhere. Perhaps, the stew was cooked long and all flavors melted and merged together.

Along with the stew, we shared Salade Liégeoise. We liked the warm and vinegary salad very much. The bacon wasn't too oily surprisingly.

Before and after the lunch, we took a walk around Mont des Arts, "hill/mount of the arts, seeing several historical sites, including Royal Palace, Parc de Bruxells, and the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula.
