J's Negroni & Pan-Roasted Cauliflower with Garlic, Ginger & Turmeric


About a month ago, J made a red cocktail with maraschino cherries I thought that it was Manhattan. J saw my blog post and kindly corrected me. It was Negroni. He added cherries instead of orange peel. How did I know? Anyway, this time I am pretty much sure that the drink he made was Negroni with twist of orange (from a mandarin orange) peel. The dinner of the day was linguine alla puttanesca and cauliflower as a side. I flavored the cauliflower with garlic, ginger and turmeric, which J requested recently. We liked the result very much! Cauliflower hasn't been a part of our regular veggies, but it will be from now on!
