BENNER's Bistronomie
Benner's Bistronomie was one of the restaurants we tried shortly after we moved to Wiesbaden. It's located in the city's landmark, Kurhaus, a spa house/casino/event venue.
The restaurant says they serve Parisian bistronomy - the combination of bistro with honest food and fine dining. The assorted bread was pretty much german. It came with charcuterie and savory cream cheese.
We both had a kind of seafood appetizer. I don't remember it well...
My main was Wiener schnitzel. It was light and nice. The German (Austrian?) style potato salad was pretty much salty, though.
J had roast guinea fowl, I think. It looked nice. Maybe that was why he took the photo in a hurry.
Overall the dining experience was ok but somehow not so memorable. Would J agree with me?
