Wilhelm Street Festival

Our first German festival experience was Wilhelm Street Festival in the mid-June. It was literally held on Wilhelmstraße, one of the major streets in the town of Wiesbaden, along with the adjoining parks and some streets. It was very nice to find out what German street foods are. There were sausages, of course!

Pork legs swimming in sauerkraut, maybe? I haven't seen so much sauerkraut before! We tasted sauerkraut and a roll with sausages. They were pretty good!

Clearly the vendor was popular!

There were many other vendors. More sausages...

Smoked salmon, too! That looked actually very nice. Perhaps I will try some next time.

Strawberries were still in season at that time. Ebrbeerbowle (strawberry punch) was wonderful. You could choose with or without alcohol. Mine was non-alcohol.

It was a fun day!
