Look back at Easter 2012

Easter 2013 is coming. I tried to remember what I made for Easter 2012..., Fraisier!

Fraisier is a French pastry well-known with the beautiful cross sections of strawberries shown up on each wall of the cake. The cake was layered with light almond sponge cake, rich pistachio Bavarian butter cream; diplomat cream and strawberry graze. Strawberry red and pistachio green were colors to celebrate Spring. I could safely say this was one of my best desserts. We'll see what I am going to make for this Easter.
