Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner

This was a Pre-Thanksgiving dinner.

We got this delicious smoked turkey from J's parents. It was nicely seasoned and smoked, so we enjoyed it without any gravy or sauce. Sides were easy quick stuffing from a box and simple stir-fried bok choy with garlic and ginger. The low-sodium real chicken stock version of the instant stuffing was new for me and wasn't bad.

It was just like a Thanksgiving dinner. To make it more Thanksgiving, we had a slice of pumpkin pie (sorry it was also store-bought. I was lazy...) with rum-flavored whipped cream (I was at least active enough to whip cream!).
The pie was for me so-so. It was less-pumpkin flavor and the crust wasn't buttery. J made a small cup of espresso to complete the dinner. We were stuffed and can't think about a up-coming real Thanksgiving dinner right now.
