Braided Lemon Bread

This was Braided Lemon Bread.

I found a recipe of this bread on Smitten Kitchen. I know J loves lemon sweets, so I thought I should make one. I used my bread machine for mixing and first rise. For the filling, like the recipe, I used commercial lemon curd. I didn't have enough sour cream, so I skipped it from the cream cheese filling. I also replaced sugar with Splenda and added a little bit of Grand Marnier.
For breakfast, we reheated the sliced bread. Bread was rich buttery and the filling was lemony. It was a lovely breakfast pastry.
