Yomogi An-pan

These were Yomogi An-pan.

I still had some Yomogi powder after I made Yomogi Mochi. I mixed Yomogi powder to my usual An-pan dough, filled each dough ball with Azuki-An, sweetened red bean paste, and decorated the dough balls with some black sesame. And to make both top and bottom golden, I placed another baking sheet on the dough and baked them. That's why these An-pan were flat.
We enjoyed some of these Yomogi An-pan just when they were out from the oven. They were still hot, especially An filling was steamy. Yomogi flavor was heavenly. That was a happy moment I wanted to freeze forever.
