Japan 2019 - Lightly Seared Bonito

Lightly seared bonito, or Katsuo no Tataki has been a Father's Day gift that I buy and send to my father via online for years. This year I kept the tradition but there was a big difference. I was at my parents' house on Father's Day. I saw the gift arrived there on time, my father received it and we all tasted the bonito together! The fish was fresh and tasty as I have heard from my parents before. I am usually far away from my parents on Father's day. I am so happy that I was able to be there this year.
