Waitrose Breaded Plaice

Honestly I don't like to freeze foods except ice cream. However, with less grocery shopping times these days, I have to take an advantage of having a freezer to keep foods longer and I am slowly learning what foods are good for freeing and how to defrost/reheat them. Waitrose Breaded Plaice fillets were good for freezing. I popped them into the freezer almost a month ago. Without defrosting in advance, they were directly reheated in the oven nicely! The lightly buttered peas with fresh thyme were also made with frozen peas. I made mashed potato with fresh potato although I had a bag of commercial frozen mashed potato in the freezer, which I haven't tried yet. I was happy with the result. The dinner looked and tasted fresh!
