Banana Almond Muffins

I made up banana almond muffins with a couple of ripen bananas and almond flour. They tasted fine but didn't look pretty. Somehow the slice of banana on the top sank deeply and the surface, which was lightly covered with turbinado sugar, was a little too much caramelized. Glad I didn't make them for a gift or a special occasion.
