Snow Walk & Manna Bakery

We had snow in the middle of January. It was the heaviest snow in our English life so far. In the morning of the next day of snowing, the sun was shining, the sky was blue, we happily took a walk in the winter wonderland!

It was still in the early morning and the road was beautifully covered with snow. I think the temperature was below 0 C degree at that time. Snow remained light and fluffy. It was lots of fun to step in it!

We walked through the Valley Gardens...

Then, we stopped by at Manna Bakery and picked up some savory baked goodies for lunch/dinner of the day. We also bought a cup of hot chocolate to go. Admiring the beautiful view of Victorian houses/public gardens decorated with snow while sipping rich smooth hot chocolate was a true entertainment!

Later we shared a steak and ale pie, a kind of vegetarian pie and a scotch egg. Just reheated them in the oven. A quick and easy meal. It was a lovely day, indeed!
