Icebox Cookies with Cardamom, Pistachios & Hazelnuts

My latest homemade cookies were the most cardamom-y cookies that I have ever made. They were made of classic buttery icebox cook dough, stubbed with toasted whole pistachios and hazelnuts, and flavored cardamon, coffee and hint of vanilla, according to a recipe I found online. Cardamon was so strong and coffee and vanilla were lost somewhere. I liked the taste of the cookies. I also liked the combination of the ingredients. However, I would reduce the amount of cardamon seeds and chopped the seeds finer next time.
