Big Salad Bowl

The main dish of this dinner was salad that accompanied with some slices of bread and a small bowl of leftover bean stew.

Talking about salad, I like just simple vegetable salad - bye-bye grilled chicken, steak, crispy bacon, etc. although I won't mind of letting cheese join sometimes. Today's salad was mix of green leaves, radish, grape tomatoes, celery, walnut, and dried cherries with homemade simple French vinaigrette. Very refreshing.

Our white wine vinegar, which was used for the vinaigrette, is Pofi white wine vinegar from Italy. One of my favorite online shops, Zingerman's, where I bought the vinegar from, described, "Smooth and succulent, Pofi vinegar has a caramel flavor with hints of apricot and a sherry-like aroma." Yes, it is very perfumy and makes our vinaigrette special.
