Fresh Peach Sherbet

This was homemade fresh peach sherbet.

Since a few days ago when I bought 6 gorgeous peaches (why? I must have been spellbound by them somehow.), our kitchen had been full of sweet cheerful fragrance. I, however, could not keep them there forever (I wished), so those peaches became sherbet.

No refined sugar but just a little of corn syrup to try to keep sherbet smoother, and only 2 tbs of cream for a hint of milky taste. A few drops of vanilla extract to give the sherbet another dimension. I forgot to add vodka that was supposed to keep sherbet soft even after freezing. Oh well, all we need to do would be finish the sherbet before it became hard icy rock. I might have squeezed lemon a bit too much because the peaches were super sweet. J thought it tasted sour but very refreshing. Actually I liked the clean-cut taste very much.
