Fava Soup

This was Fava Soup. I just named it so.

There was a good amount of leftover Fava, Greek yellow split pea paste simmered with red onion for hours. Peas were nicely melting and smooth. We enjoyed it as dip a lot, so, I sought a different way to enjoy the leftover.

I mixed it into vegetable broth along with carrot and celery, simmered with a laurel leaf and a couple of dashes of Hungarian sweet paprika. It became lovely hearty tasty soup.
