Three Fruits Bread
This was Three Fruits Bread that I baked for our luncheon party.
We used to buy bread called Four Fruits Bread at a local French bakery. Four fruits were almond, raisin, apricot, prune. I have been enjoying baking very much these days; why can't I try to make my own Four Fruits Bread?
I prepared dough by following a recipe of European Peasant Bread from "Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day," and started to load roasted almonds, raisins, dried apricots,... then, realized there was no space for dried prune anymore. So, I ended up to baking Three, instead of Four, Fruits Bread.
They were really great: nutty and fruity even without prune! Actually J suddenly confessed he was not a big fan of prune in bread. What?! I didn't know that now after we both ate so many Four Fruits Bread together!
Conclusion: "three" would be our ultimate number.
