Homemade Waffles & Baked Peaches with Whipped Cream & Bourbon Caramel Sauce

These were homemade waffles and baked peaches with whipped cream and bourbon caramel sauce.

Peaches are in season now. I picked some peaches and pondered what I shall do with them. I had leftover bourbon caramel sauce and heavy milk in the refrigerator. I just bought fresh eggs and milk. I haven't made fresh waffles for a while. What if I combine all?
I baked peaches to concentrate the flavor and chilled in the refrigerator. In the morning of the next day, I made fresh waffles and toped with peaches and lightly-sweeten whipped cream, and drizzled warmed bourbon caramel cause over.
Fancy breakfast! Yes, it looked so. But the unpleasant bitterness of the caramel sauce dominated the plate. I didn't think it was bitter when I tasted it in the vegan cheesecakes. Also I found some bitterness in the baked peaches. Extra whipped cream was helpful to hide some of the bitterness although unfortunately it wan't what I dreamed about.
