Pan-fried Chicken with Sweet & Sour Sauce
This was pan-fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce.
I had two chicken thighs in the freezer that I wanted to say bye-bye. I adapted a recipe from Japanese online cooking recipe site Cookpad. It was easy. Marinated chicken in Sake and soy sauce and pan-fried them until crispy. Then, poured sweet and sour sauce, or Amazu, made with soy sauce, rice vinegar and sugar. Served with tomato and green salad tossed with simple mustard vinaigrette. And a bowl of steamed white rice. I would say it was a kind of Japanese dinner.
