Chicken with Creamy Dijon Mustard Sauce, again
This was chicken with creamy dijon mustard sauce, again!
When I heard from J his parents were going to visit us, I asked him what we should serve for dinner. His first suggestion was this chicken dish. He must have really liked it! This time, I used white wine, not vermouth, but I still didn't have cognac, so I used apple brandy like the last time. Sides were mashed potato and lemony asparagus. Just like the last time. The dish tasted very good as well. Only one issue, at least for me, was the chicken skin wasn't super crisp. I should have broiled the skin side longer. Oh, well, I am sure we will make the dish again soon, so I will have a chance to make it properly.
