Namasute

We tried a relatively new local Indian restaurant in Gambrills, Namasute for lunch.

During lunch time, they serve buffet like any other Indian restaurants do. There were four kinds of vegetarian curries, chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, fried vegetable ball that I forgot the name, basmati rice, and savory rice with chicken that I don't remember the name. Everything, except fish curry that I missed to try this time, was surprisingly tasty. J told me fish curry was actually not bad. I look forward to trying some next time. For desserts, there were Seviyan Kheer, or Indian Vermicelli Milk Pudding and custard pudding. Both were pretty good. J liked the aromatic Seviyan Kheer very much! We haven't seen it as a lunch buffet dessert at any Indian restaurants before. The buffet included chai that was unsweetened, which I appreciate because you can put Splenda in your cup to adjust the sweetness as you like.
They are now the closest place for us to get Indian cuisine. I can imagine we will visit them frequently for dine-in or take-out. Although there wasn't many customers when we were there, s o far they have received good reviews on Yelp. I hope they keep their business there without changing the quality of food.
