Take-out Indian Curry

This was take-out Indian curry dinner.

We have been to the Indian restaurant once before and didn't get a good impression. That was a quite long time ago. We happened to be around the restaurant and gave it a second chance. We placed a take-out order - Paneer Makhani (cottage cheese cooked in rich creamy tomato gravy), Smoked Eggplant Bharta (slow-roasted ground eggplant sautéed with ginger, onion, tomatoes, and peas), and Seekh Kaban (ground lamb mixed with cumin, coriander, mint and cilantro finished in tandoori oven on a skewer) with lentil curry. All came with long grain rice. Surprisingly everything was pretty good. Eggplant curry was my favorite. Did the restaurant improve? Was our choice for this time right? Either way, most likely we will go back to the place in the future.
