Lentil Soup, again

This was lentil soup, again.

I haven't made this hearty, no-meat soup for a while. I followed my recipe but used more chicken stock and less water. Instead of 1 tablespoon of dried oregano, I added about 1 teaspoon of dried thyme. I thought there was a can of diced tomato in the pantry, but unfortunately there wasn't.  So I used about 14 oz of crashed tomato, wondering I used the diced tomato can for what. The soup was very delightful. Perhaps the series of those tiny changes made the soup better than ever.
