Le Premier - Japan 2016

It was the time to visit my family in Japan! Everything I ate in Japan was excellent. I wished J could have joined me!

During my stay in Japan, I had a lunch with my family members at a French restaurant called Le Premier in Takarazuka Hotel, a historic hotel with a European décor that was established in 1926. It was a great opportunity of family reunion and a joint-birthday party. October was the birth month of my sister, brother and one of my nieces. Of course, it was a quite good reason to have a feast!

Amuse bouche was something like stuffed chicken with mashed sweet potato...? I don't remember what it exactly was, but I do remember it was very good!

Citrus-marinated red snapper with chorizo marmalade, shrimps and squid with savory parsley sauce, and green leaf salad
Norwegian salmon "Kiev" with scallop "pĂȘcheur" (fisherman) soup
Braised breaded target perch with Allemande sauce
Chocolate and coffee layer cake with rum raisin ice cream
All dishes were wonderful! Especially, the dessert was super! There were several choices of desserts. I wished to taste each. What a very happy family lunch party it was!
