Rudy’s Mediterranean Grill
This was a take-out dinner from Rudy's Mediterranean Grill in Columbia, MD.
It was our first time to try this place. We placed an order online, which was very convenient. We chose shrimp shish kebab, Beyti Yogurt (Turkish flatbread stuffed with beef and lamb, fresh garlic, parlsey and onion with yogurt sauce on top), and Lahmacun (Very thick hand tossed dough with spicy ground lamb, tomatoes and onions). First of all, their take-out packaging was A+++++. All cold salad and vegetables were separated from hot main dishes and packed in a high-quality plastic container beautifully. Salad dressing was also packed in a small container individually. Hot main dishes were also neatly wrapped and placed in a container. No leak, no mess. Perfect! J doesn't care about it as much as I do, but it's very important for me. Of course, I care about the taste of foods. In short, every thing was pretty good! Shrimps were lovely while I really liked the rice that came with the shrimps. It wasn't plain steamed rice, but slightly flavored rice like pilaf. Both Beyti Yogurt and Lahmacun were delicious, too. J and I hadn't had something like those before.
Each dish came with a generous portion of salad. Greens and chopped vegetables looked very fresh and tasted great. Impressive! I don't see any reason that prevents us from going back there.
