Bangers & Mash with Onion Gravy, Peas, Roasted Veggie & Yorkshire Pudding
About a month ago, our Sunday lunch/dinner was bangers and mash with onion gravy, simmered peas, roasted carrots and parsnips, and Yorkshire puddings - a British traditional pub food! We bought two kinds of sausages: Cumberland and Lincolnshire. Mash and onion gravy were made from scratch. I also cooked peas and roasted veggie in a simple way. Yorkshire puddings were frozen products by Waitrose but they were actually pretty good. In fact I have never had bangers and mash at a pub, so don't know how my creation was authentic, but I enjoyed my version pretty much!
