Homemade Chestnut Cheesecake

I had a jar of French organic chestnut puree in the pantry. Its "best use by" date was getting close.What should I make with the precious chestnut product? My final decision was chestnut cheesecake!

I didn't have a recipe for chestnut cheesecake but for pumpkin cheesecake. Replacing canned pumpkin with chestnut puree worked beautifully.

I added homemade candied chestnuts in the cheesecake. The result was an absolutely delightful cheesecake for a chestnut lover! That's me.
