Chocolate Lemon Cake from L.A. Burdick

This was Chocolate Lemon Cake from L.A. Burdick, my favorite chocolate store in NH.

J bought the cake for my birthday. It was sweet of him as always. We have had their chocolate but not cake before. This beautiful cake - "A petite square of chocolate cake layered with tart lemon buttercream and thickly topped with dark limoncello ganache." - was wonderful!

Lemon and chocolate is a new combination at least for me, which was a pleasant discovery.
