Mushi-Pan - Steamed Bread with Brown Sugar & Raisins
These were steamed bread, or Mushi-Pan, with brown sugar and raisins.
I made steamed bread before but these were made with a new recipe from a Japanese baking book that I just bought in Japan. The result was fluffy, lightly sweeten steamed bread that I LOVE!
When the bread is slightly warm out from the steamer is the best to taste. But just 8 second heating in the microwave the next morning was fine too. I can't wait to make more with different flavors like Japanese Kabocha pumpkin, Japanese Matcha green tea, sesame, etc.
