Warabi-Mochi and more
This was Warabi-mochi, one of Japanese sweets that I took with me from Japan.
I had some Warabi-mochi during my stay in Japan too. It's one of my favorites. I can eat this jelly like confection made from bracken starch everyday. This Warabi-mochi package included not only toasted soybean flour, or Kinako but also Japanese brown sugar syrup, or Kuromitsu.
I bought several kinds of Japanese sweets including Warabi-mochi at a local Japanese sweet store. Rice cake, sweeten red beans, sweeten chestnuts, sweet plum, etc... Two pieces each so that J and I can have one each. I am glad J liked all.
