Helo Wales! 12: The Beach
"Good morning, good morning, good morning! And what a lovely day it is. Rise and shine, rise and shine!" It was a beautiful morning. No.6 could listen to the speaker saying so. We took a walk along the shore until 8am when serving the breakfast started. The tide was still low and left some remaining water here and there. We stepped down on the sandy beach and explored the estuary. The sand was so soft!
We walked toward the sea and realized the sandy estuary expanded as far as the eye could reach. You could walk on the beach between Portmeirion and Porthmadog directly. We saw a flock of large fish in a deep and large water spot. The fish were apparently trapped in the spot until the next high tide comes.
The breakfast was served at the restaurant that we had a lovely dinner last night at. Fruit juice, pastries, cereals, fruit salad, and yogurt were provided in a buffet style. I had a couple of pastries, fruit salad, orange juice and strawberry smoothie. Everything was pretty good!
Hot dishes were also served by order. I chose buttermilk and poppy seed pancakes. They were tasty, too! J enjoyed kippers. Tea or coffee as well as toasts were served, too. The breakfast was wonderful.
The village in the sunrise was beautiful as well. It was time to leave there and go back home. The Wales trip was fantastic with various environments and activities - from a beach to mountains; nature hiking and fine dining. Variety is the spice of life, right?
Wela i chi, Wales!
