Helo Wales! 8: Snowdonia National Park - Craflwyn, Hafod y Llan & Llyn Dinas

Staying in Beddgelert was a great idea because there were so many hiking trails around the village. We followed one of hiking routes by National Trust - a total 6.5 mile Craflwyn, Hafod y Llan and Llyn Dinas circular walk that started and finished at Craflwyn. It allowed us to explore much of the wider Nant Gwynant valley. At the beginning we walked in a deep forest; soon we found a higher and open spot with a picturesque view. Actually every scenery I saw during the entire walk was breathtaking. We passed through several farms and met nimble goats, adorable sheep and huge cattle. At the end of the long valley trail, Afon Cwm Llan waterfalls were waiting for us. The course's finale was walking along the shores of Llyn Dinas. The weather was beautiful. I felt so lucky to be there, of course with J!

It was time for late lunch after the wonderful hiking. We tried to find a restaurant around Craflwyn; however, our phones didn't get a signal and we couldn't search a place to eat. After all we came back to Beddgelert.

We simply popped in to Hebog Cafe & Bistro, a restaurant near our B&B. Their menu gave us a good range of foods. I had vegetarian falafels. The dish was pretty good. J had a lamb burger. I think he enjoyed it with a glass of local beer.

For desserts, we went to the ice cream shop again. I chose Sicilian pistachio. It was as good as rum and raisin that I had the day before.
