Butternut Squash Ravioli with Oregano-Hazlnut Pesto

This was butternut squash ravioli with oregano-hazelnut pesto.

Our fresh oregano and sage are beautifully growing this summer. This recipe from Saveur #140 was a perfect recipe to use them along with our fresh basil. And sweet butternut squash filling in smooth (and quick) wonton ravioli. More than perfect!
I liked hazelnut in this pesto. The filling - roasted butternut squash, roasted garlic, browned butter, freshly grated Parmesan cheese and nutmeg, and extra fresh oregano and sage - was full with a lot of flavors.   
With fried sage leaves and more Parmesan cheese, the dish was splendid! It was rich and so satisfying.
