Baked Apple Cinnamon Doughnuts

These were baked Apple Cinnamon Doughnuts!

It was made with a doughnut mix from King Arthur Flour. We have been enjoying their doughnut mix products - pumpkin spice, buttermilk, and chocolate so far, and were excited to try this new flavor!

A lot of dried apples were in the mix.

Oops, did I bake a little too long? The bottom side became deep golden.

According to J's request, we tried the doughnuts as plain. They were so good! I found lovely apple bits in each bite. Not too sweet. Perfect for breakfast. I was originally thinking of coating them with cinnamon sugar, but they were already delicious as is. Simple is best.
