First Homemade Pesto Genovese in England

I had added a small bunch of fresh basil with a recent online grocery order, but it was unavailable on the delivery day and replaced with a large bunch of fresh basil. Plenty of fresh basil reminded me of our summer gardening in the States. We would grow basil during summer and often make Pesto Genovese. While fresh basil is available around the year here, I have never made Pesto Genovese since we came to England. Here was my first homemade Pesto Genovese in England. Ah, I still like the beautiful emerald sauce very much. A taste of summer!
