This was Red Bee's Honey Party Tasting kit, a Christmas gift from J's parents.
I had never heard
Red Bee, artisanal single-origin honeys produced by Marina Marchese, an entrepreneur as well as a beekeeper and honey specialist.
The party tasting kit contains four kinds of honeys: Alfalfa Honey, Buckwheat Honey, Wildflower Honey, Clover Honey. I tasted all at once on my homemade bread. All were tasty. Every honey tasted like honey (yes, they were honey, I know.) but quite different from each other. My favorite was clover, which had clean bright floral taste.
Tasting was so enjoyable! It would also be fun to make desserts sweetened by different honeys, thinking which flavor of honey would be suitable to the desserts. Thanks J's parents!
