Pasty's Puttanesca

We like making our homemade pasta sauce while we enjoy a certain jar sauce like Rao's just for convenience. J's mother suggested if we like Rao's we should try Pasty's. Both are old Italian restaurants in NY and distribute their products at grocery stores.

So we tried Pasty's Puttanesca on angel hair pasta. It was good as a store-jar sauce, but my Puttanesca was much better (of course!). Maybe we will try a different Pasty's sauce next time so that I can be lazy again.
