Sourdough Pancakes with Strawberry Compote & Whipped Cream
It was my dream breakfast! Pancakes made with sourdough starter is definitely our new favorite pancakes. Tasty, fluffy, and creamy. After I decorated my pancakes with homemade strawberry compote and lightly sweetened whipped cream, I realized I was missing something - maple syrup! There was no picture, but I certainly drizzled maple syrup over the pancakes to complete my dream. I invited J to my dream, but he turned it down and ate his pancakes with simple butter spread. He enjoyed his pancakes in his way as I did in my way.
